Atlas is now manufacturing two types of SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) SBS is a material that has been proven in flat roofing for many years and is known for its heavy hail and wind resistance. These two shingles carries up to a 110mph wind rating along with a Class 4 impact resistant rating. In English this means that the homeowner can save from 8%-20% on their insurance premiums. I have actually called insurance companies to verify these discounts. In return it saves your customers hundreds of dollars a year. Last but definitely not the least; we are in process of working with a company called LOAD-a-Bag. LOAD-a-Bag makes closable all purpose bags where you can store, transport, and dispose of all building materials including shingles and siding.
